In a significant collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), BASE launched a series of flood-resilience projects in southern Bangladesh. Targeting regions most affected by annual floods, the project focuses on flood-adaptive building designs and aims to reduce damage in flood-prone zones by 40% over the next decade. Pilot structures in Barisal have shown promising results, withstanding floodwaters that historically caused major damage.
